Recycling
Here at McAteer Recycling we look after all your recycling and waste needs. We can advise on what can be recycled and the most cost effective solutions to any waste related problems. We can help reduce your waste costs by helping you recycle more. We have set collection days for cardboard, glass, plastics, waste etc. We can accomodate all businesses with their growing needs e.g. busier times of the year by offering extra bins or lifts.
Cardboard
McAteer Recycling offer a collection service for cardboard and paper, but customers can also drop off cardboard to our site. We are one of the few companies in Northern Ireland that hire out balers for cardboard and collect the bales from site. This clears up more space in your work environment. We offer baler wire and maintenace to the balers when required.
Plastic
McAteer Recycling sort and grade all types of flim plastic including agricultural plastics. We bale the plastic on site and then transport it onto european markets for futher processing
Polystyrene
The recycling of polystyrene is a new service that we offer and we are currently the only company in this area that offer this service. We have a machine for reducing the volume of polystyrene from 50:1. Once the polystyrene is reduced in size into briquettes, it is palletised and shipped to China, where it is used for the manufacturing of picture frames, plastic trophies etc. We offer a free service for the recycling of polystyrene delivered to our site.
Glass
McAteer Recycling has a glass collection service. We provide 240 litre bins to pubs, restaurants etc. for the collection of glass on a weekly basis. We collect clear and coloured glass, but require that our customers seperate the glass into the different bins provided before collection.
Waste Collection
Bin Hire
McAteer Recycling offer wheelie bins hire for commerical use only. Bins are for general waste and can be collected up to twice a week. We offer 3 sizes of bins: 240L, 660L, 1100L
